Does anyone use this? www.frogpool.com/product-7361.htmCan you recommend it? Thanks! Is the current numnah we use too big? (please note this is my mum riding but it's the best photo I have of it) I'm only planning on doing novice level shows. I don't use the seat saver.

The numnah you are using in that picture doesn't fit the shape of your saddle - have a look at a numed high wither griffin show numnah.

you can but special numnahs for showing...sort of memory foam shock absorbing pads and you can trim it with scissors to the exact side of your saddle...I used to swear by mine...I'll look for somewhere on the internet that sells them so you can have a look xx

Thankyou very much everyone, karmas all round I will look out for your suggestions The saddle is a good fit I just don't really want it to get hairy underneath! What do you guys do to stop them picking up hair or do hairs just not stick? Edited for typo

I always think it looks nicer if a saddle has got a numnah underneath it, but it does need to fit the saddle and be fairly unobtrusive for showing. Depending on your budget, the sheepskin numnahs are the nicest.

I might buy a sheepskin numnah depending on our success but I doubt we'll win much for a while yet! I'd like to buy a showing shape numnah but as we have a GP saddle I don't know how it would look. He's fully clipped so will try numnahless at the show

i used to go without but various judges have told me they don't like it, so ive switched to a foam filled fleecy one its really important the numnah fits the shape of the saddle, it doesnt matter if you can see a bit round the edge so long as i follows the shape!

I agree with showing fanatic If you can get away with it I would recommend going without if it causes the pony no discomfort.

Thank you so much everyone! This is an old post - since then we've invested in a sheepskin one that seems to work well (just slips back sometimes so we're going to shorten the straps)
