We bought a CCTV system from Maplins for about £100. The camers are remote (no wiring) and it runs off a solar panel . The monitor is in the house.

We've just bought a wireless network camera for the foaling box to save getting up in the middle of the night!!
Trouble is I think I'm going to see the feral cats more than the mare as it needs to go on the wall where they tend to sit.

I got it on ebay and it works through our PC system. I think OH is going to put in something to boost signal due to distance from the house.
Seller was savemoneyforyou and they have been great when we had a query on setting up the sound option. A great camera for under £50, which can be panned and tilted remotely, and has night vision and sound.

You can get some really cheap wireless camera kits on ebay but I got mine from Argos and it cost me £89.99. BEWARE THOUGH.... I ended up watching the camera contantly. I used to go to work sooooo tired through sitting up till stupid o clock watching. And then she foaled whilst I was at work so I missed it all anyway lol ;D
