Just thought i would post a thread on here as i wanted peoples opinion that are on a livery yard! I am sure that this happen on livery yard b!tching and back stabbing and rumours starters.
my friend it a victim of a sicotive women who feels the need to cause trouble fior her, when she has done nothing wrong.
the women in question in very vindictive and manipulative (sp) she has gone as for to bring up past things that arent relavent to the current situation like my friend past partners and senstive parts of her life, she is telling complete strange my friends whole life story.
this women is also known to be vilant and have a nasty mouth on her when confronted, she is basically bullying her and making her hobby non enjoyable anymore.
she has been to the yard manager and they have tried to sort it out with no joy, it seems like she is isnt going to stop. when all my firend is doing it raising above it and staying out of her way.
she has even gripped her up in stable before and people who no her are a little wary of her. I have had enough of it all and my friend has started to become depressed over it all.
I really want to help her, but dont really want to get invovled to risk getting kicked off and all that!
any help and opinnions would be grateful.
thanks in advanced.

I was in a very similar situation last year, when a I got into an argument with a bloke on our livery yard, and he came VERY close to hitting me. I reported it to the police who I must say were EXCELLENT, and if I had had any witnesses they would have procecuted him. I decided to move yard to prevent any further trouble, and I must say I have never been happier. Unfortunately, the bloke has since then done the same to a freind of mine who does not want to involve the police, with the result that he is now able to do it again and again, whenever he wishes. My advice would be to report to police and move to a different yard.

Helle thats excactly what i did so much happier and safe, I had witnesses and chose not to prosecute, thouh maybe will think twice before doing it in future, key is to remain calm not rise to their level, i gave it back verbally but with no swearing, and think he got more than he bargained for, no matter how good it would have felt to lamp him when he was in my face i didnt

I'd say move yards too. I Unfortunately I think this would be the only way for your friend to stop this from happening. Why isn't this person causing the trouble being removed from the yard if Yard owner knows how bad she is? Hope your friend is ok and she gets sorted quickly.

just move out, the yard manager needs a kick up the backside too, thats why you have managers to sort out problems as well as the day to day running of the yard. hope your friend gets it sorted some people are so mean.

Dont put up with that, move or buy a bit of land what you pay in livery/rent you could get a morgage and buy a bit of land.
Would not have horses if i had to put up with livery problems i admire those that are dedicated enough to cope with DIY.
