Holiday - any foalie yet Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!! LOL still cooking at present!!! Think everyone should now send "pushing" vibes!!! She looks quite settled and content with her baby in her tummy!!!! Me on the other hand is tired, as shes now on camera at nights and cant sleep as keep having to check shes ok!!!! But on the other hand so excited!!!!! |

Armada and Beckylock - any news yet? NOTHING!!!!!! She has hardly bagged up since last weekend and its driving me mad, and she is still poncing round the paddock with her tail in the air and frolicking like a spring lamb! Her owner went into hospital today, and it would have been nice to tell her after her operation she had a nice healthy foal, at this rate we'll still be waiting in a months time. A friend happily told me at the weekend one of her mares was 5 1/2 weeks late, I was really pleased at that statement. I want it on the ground and suckling, then I can get a decent nights sleep. |

Oh dear - armada - we will all have to start giving you pushing vibes. xx Dont waste your time just yet LP, I've spent the last 3 hours on the phone to my friend Hazel who owns the sire of this rather cosy and reticent little foal who refuses to be born, and when looking at her service certificate copies, has told me the owner of the mare is in need of a visit to spec savers, I am not barking mad, and can now have a good nights sleep as the last service date was 7th of May 2009, not the 5th April 2009, as I was told. Sooooooo, D.O.B. now revised to around the 14th April 2010, and I'll be calling the owner at the weekend to tell her what the 'revised' keep bill is going to be! And to add, I've got one of our mares now booked in with Whinfell Tom Kitten again for a 2011 foal of our own. Glass of wine called for methinks. I'm laughing at Boothsdale as well, my mum rashly identified a rather strapping colt we had 3 years ago as 'a filly, definately a filly', 2 days later, she decided he was most definately a 'he' - in the excitement of it all and in a bad light, it does happen. |
