has anyone had any experience of cushings in dogs... my little girl who has diabetes and chronic pancreatitis has just been diagnosed (see my thread about diabetic dogs)
poor girl has so many things to contend with
any experiences would be welcome

more things to go wrong??? your dog muct be getting sick of it. just found out that my dog has a kidney infection, these dogs with diabetes, everything seems to go wrong with them not sure if it will work the same put my old pony had cushings and i had to give him pergelide (sp?) might work the same with dogs?

All these illnesses go hand in hand as it's all part of the endocine system. Hopefully meds will stabalize her which should also help with her diabetes. She is still on 22 units twice a day. :-(

I groom a yorkie who has just been diagnosed with cushings, now the vets have got her drugs right things are really on the up, much happier dog.

she starts her meds tomorrow so hopefuly life will improve for her
