Would of been nice and vet did say there was possibility but as dad was golden no guarentees but just pleased all here nad healthy and mum fine

Your Vet is not au fait with Labrador colour genetics,to get all chocolates use a chocolate dog with no yellow gene, use a black carrying the chocolate gene then you get roughly 50/50 blacks and chocolates,use a yellow with no chocolate gene and get all blacks as your girl probably carries no yellow gene as all 10 are black,Enjoy them ,hard work but very rewarding

I think black is the dominant gene.. I know in Irish, red is recessive and you need 2 reds to get a red.. so if you cross an irish with anything else, it is never red...
LOL
dont you jsut love genetics
who cares... puplets are a joy and smell sooo nice.. I am getting broody again and want some puplets too

i am thinking my vet is au fait with much seeing as he said to expect 3 pups but totally agree dazycutter pups are sucha joy |

ahh lovely pups, had two litters last week, (terriers) one c section had four lost one on table and two the next day so down to one who seems healthy and extremely chunky and luckly the other had no complications and five, whoever thinks breedings easy money can have my vets bills lol
