Shacklebridge Red Riding Hood Rich Red Chestnut Mare with minimal white blaze and small white socks. Would make fab brood mare - Has had a nice filly by Dyfed Popcorn 2 years ago. Wasted in home with owner - Purley a pet, Has been shown locally as a youngster. Sweet mare though DOES NOT like to be disturbed whilst eating. Good to Catch though can panic if whislt in field anything runs up her back end. Good as gold as shows, not worried about other horses in that respect. Sire - Brierdene Brenin Dam - Ruthley Wild Princess She is 7 or 8 - To be confirmed. I had started to do some basics, Lunges and lunges well, very light floating movement, has had saddle on with me leaning over whislt weight was on a bucket and isnt bothered at all, we have noone small enough to finish her off, she is the type that enjoys doing new things and learns quickly. Is a deep bodied mare, and of very rich chestnut colour and good home is important but is truley wasted. Ready to be covered for 2008 or finished schooling. This Mare is a middle of the road "type"mare, but nice quality, well set tail, with a straighter but broad attractive head, she does have a slight facial dish but not extreme, Middle of the road bone, very silky coat and excellent thick mane & tail which her filly has inherited, would cross nicley with a more smaller headed stallion or equally as she moves nice would throw nice foals to a bigger type also Offers Around 800£ Open to Offers Good Home Very Important

I dont think much is moving at the moment, its a shame as someone wanting a broodmare could be getting her covered for a early foal in 2009 or schooling on, she is quick to learn and with a competant rider im convinced that she would be ready to show this year, she enjoys learning and doing new things, just need someone little enough to just sit her while they first get on, with saddle on first time she did 2 bucks a little leap and was absolutly fine after that never did it again, its just the initial getting on bit, i have stood on a bucket and layed across saddle with feet on bucket and patted it etc, she was fine.

She a very good mum, and foaled no problems first time 2 years ago, so she has done it once.
