I am wanting a new jacket as i think the one i have doesnt 'match' my new horse. I have a 15.2 GREY hunter which i will be doing county level and hoys/rihs quals, what colour tweed would you say looks best with a grey (i do like to have a different jacket to everybody) not to sure on whats the best colour. Thanks

Best thing to do is go to Beau cheval and get one made to measure. Then the tweed you choose isnt one that is her popular range....hence you wont have 3 people in the lineup with the same jacket on!!!

I'd have thought most colours would match a grey

I think a mustard tweed with a blue overcheck and a blue shirt would look lovely with a grey.

My grey (virtually white) suited a bright green tweed with a bold red check www.showingtime.co.uk - Tweed B2 Also suited a goldy sage green one as well. Think mustard looks better with chestnuts & bays IMO

I think shades of green work best with greys. If you fancy a mustardy tweed, try to get one with a slight greenish tint, it'll suit a grey better than a browner shade.

you have to be careful with a BLUE tweed on a grey, as from a distance they can look like a plain navy.....

I bet they could - mine looks blue but on the picture I posted but it was a fairly cloudy day. It's actually more amber-ish.

I would say blue or green tweed, never brown.
