Brannagh 15.1hh 9yr old Mare
Very pretty bay Welsh Cob type (possibly purebred) with lovely action & good conformation – a fantastic prospect for 2010, with potential to show unregistered or part-bred, dressage, jump, cross-country or just be a fun hack. Fully vaccinated & passported.
Brannagh was professionally re-backed last year after being turned away to enjoy being a wonderful mother to a very nice filly foal. She has been turned away for the Winter mainly due to the weather, so has fairly low mileage, but has a mature attitude & is willing to learn. She spent the summer improving in the school, as well as lots of hacks through woods and along bridle-paths gaining a new experiences each day, such as cyclists, other horses, stiles, motorcycles, dogs etc - all of which she took in her stride. She is happy to hack out alone, or in company, going first or last. She also loads & travels well.
Brannagh is looking for an experienced confident rider to take her further as she is capable of so much more, & thrives on work. She has shown potential over jumps - which she loves, but is unfortunately not my thing. I have however popped her over some on a line and she is really keen and brave - which leads me to believe cross-country is an area she would be well suited to. She could live in or out (where she comes to call) & she is currently out at present. She has lived with geldings, mares & alone, all quite happily & she is also used to others coming and going from the field. She is generally easy to do in all ways although requires a consistent and fair approach. She is bored with no work at the moment so a little more excited when coming in, & will benefit from more regular work with an experienced rider. As mentioned before, Brannagh does also makes a fantastic mum so could so potentially be used as a brood mare in the future, although it would be nice to see her go on and continue her ridden career.
I’m looking for the perfect home for Brannagh where she can excel. She is available with tack and her new Albion K2 Dressage saddle, which was professionally fitted & is very comfortable.
