A new Supreme Ridden Hunter Championship is being introduced at Equifest this year. This will be open to the Champion / Reserve Champion Hunter from 15 selected shows across the UK and will take place on Saturday 21st August. Prize money is £1000 to the Champion, £500 to the Reserve Champion and £250 to the First Reserve. All exhibitors forward for final judging and presentation will receive £50 appearance money. Please see the Equifest website for a full list of qualifying shows - www.equifest.org.uk. All qualifying shows will receive £100 prize money for the qualifying horse plus rosette. huh i have a lovely hunter carnt wait to get him showing in some classes - do judges ride hunters at equifest?? also he link to your website wnt work??? thanks

Pennypoo - the website will work if you omit/delete the full stop after 'uk'.

I have qualified for the hunter championship (on my small) & won my class, can we enter this? :S

Think it depends where you qualified as only certain shows hold qualifiers - look on equifest.org.uk and download the schedule for the Supreme Ridden Hunter as it lists the qualifying shows

Entries close for the qualifier taking place during the Festival of Hunting, East of England Showground, Peterborough on Wednesday 7th July. Judges at the Festival of Hunting are Miss Gill Evans and Mr John Conifey. Judges for the Championship at Equifest are Miss Moggy Hennessey and Mr Simon Somers. £1000 prize money for the Supreme Champion at Equifest and £50 appearance money to all entrants forward.
