looking to buy a vintage hunting whip for my teenage daughter advertised are men/ladies what is the obvious difference between the two?? ie..is the ladies smaller or does the horn handle differ in colour? or would it make no difference if the price is right (looking on ebay) thanks in advance

A ladies hunting whip is more slimline and lighter. Mens are generally quick heavy and thick.

This is far too late to be of any help to you, but the mens are very thick, there is no way I could manage a mens hunting whip and my reins, definitely wait for a ladies.
