I am getting mixed advice regarding Jackets to be worn for Riding Horses? Most people say Tweed Jacket and velvet browband. Some people are saying the rules have changed this year and plain navy is "allowed" or "preferred? Does anyone know for sure?

I remember a thread about this, apparently there was a change printed in the rule book regarding jackets, but on ringing the society concerned it was a mistake and there has been no change. Tweed jacket still applies.

tweed but that is under BSHA rules. just local it really doesn't matter. Neat tidy and no big fluffy numnah, white saddle cloth, white breeches or huge sparkly browband is best
