I want to go browband shopping when I get paid, but I just cant decide what colour/style to go for. I wont be doing anything flash, just an inhand foreign breed locally to start with and seeing how we get on. Any opinions on what would look nice appreciated!

Thanks angscott Is she/he bay? If so, I suggest plain red or red and gold or even burgundy. Stay away from cream/white as she/he has quite abit of white on her/his face. If your not sure, PM me and I will forward you our colour charts and can also post you some ribbon samples

We introduced browbands recently and have been blown away by the resopnse. Here's a pic of a Burgandy one that matches the rest of our Burgandy Show kits. I'd love to hear what you think Happy hunting! Suzanne

Lovepink - Navy and baby blue. Or Navy and Lemon, would look lovely on a grey.

soz guys but i disagree ... navy/lemon or navy/baby blue is far too wishy washy on a grey and will look very dull .. stick to either plain red with a little gold or silver metallic OR red/navy/gold or red/petrol blue .. in fact, lovepink has now sorted her browband with me ~ thank you lovepink re. the bay horse ...the blingmypony browband is very nice but not enough solid colour in it for horse with plenty of white on it's face and too blingy for a foreign-bred ses is correct, steer completely away from white/cream and i would also say silver .. stick to bold colours and with bright gold metallic ... keep if classy for your horses ... here are a few examples and if you really do want plenty of bling, go for our spacer crystal BB which allows plenty of colour to show thru:

Re Jackie @ PONIES ON PARADE, she will make one in any colourway/pattern you want, really well made and has bows/ties etc to match.

Bigmamma - (Jackie @ ponies on parade) - made me a lovely browband, button hole and scrunchie set, all within a week. The judge commented on how much she liked the browband and how well it suited my horse. She won the ridden championship! Thanks BIGMAMMA !

I went for burgundy and gold in the end....although have decided im not 100% keen on burgundy on her! (lol, fickle) I will wear my navy jacket next time (was at the dry cleaners!) so think I will have a play around with colours, and try red maybe this time. her bridle arrived in the post so i can try a few for next time, shes in a borrowed one here so not looking quite right anyway.
