hi, don't have room for another colt unfortunately, we only have one proper stallion paddock that is occupied by my senior stallion
would be happy to swap one or two for a ridden one for myself, would also swap one for a very very quiet l/r f/r pony - need not be one to show but for my daughter to safely potter about on as we have two green reg Welsh A's for her to go onto once she has confidence and ability to ride them
the 4 year old Welsh C is not broken in due to lack of funds - I no longer break ponies in as have young daughter to think about and always higher chance of having a fall or two throughout the breaking in process!!! normally send mine away to Debbie Rodwell but the money tree has died a death - he is quirky - pulls faces at feed times and can be defensive in the field - he was given a good frightening as a foal from neighbours horse jumping into our fields on a regular basis and think when it was being removed he got a few good scares to keep him out the way - his younger brother you could walk up his backend by accident etc and no reaction but with the 4 year old he would tell you where to go so he needs someone who can build his confidence up - he catches, rugs, very good in hand and is pretty unflappable/not spooky, he tried his heart out on the lunge last year so I guess with the right human who is firm but very kind this pony will be very rewarding - it would be nice for him to go with his younger brother - whom will be gelded once ground dries up a bit - make great driving pair as both striking grey
open to suggestions although I do need to cut down on numbers - would also swap for stables/field shelter WHY
good kind loving homes are a must these are all home bred, was there at their births and watched them grow so very special - all show quality with superb bloodlines so be great asset for anyone wanting to show at a decent level
I would sell the grey boys for very reasonable price as long as I can be assured of a long term home - don't want them being bought to be sold on for a fast buck - these boys are both half brother to Rosegarth Pioneer so have the looks and bloodlines to actually do well
