JENNA DON'T FEEL BAD!! lol! Firstly like m@m said you didn't push her over and at 11 shouldn't she know that without adults permission you should never get on a horse even if she isn't horsey. If she's that keen about riding try suggesting riding lessons with a riding school. :)Karma as well. x

Well put it down to experience and I would say probably don't let novices ride any of your ponies. We have to be careful, in these days of litigation, who knows where is might end.

Oh no jenna poor you! It wasn't exactly your fault though, was it, if she nomiated herself to ride - maybe you should've made her sign a disclaimer ;D

You shouldn't feel guilty. If you ride any horse it is at your own risk. Everyone knows that accidents happen and very few riders don't fall off at some stage - I came of last year and knocked myself unconscious but would never have dreamed of blaming the horse (he spooked and bolted) or his owners - I was just desperate to get back on but as I had been unconscious had to wait 3 days before I could persuade them I was okay to get back on board.
We should all take responsibility for ourselves rather than blaming others.
Don't feel bad Jenna, it wasn't your fault and it sounds like she was making more out of it than there was - maybe she is just one of these people who likes to be centre of attention.
