Had two foals today - both by Glenmuir Buzzard.
First a colt from Holmedown Maydew (due 23/03) big strong lad - found him when I arrived up the yard this morning.
Then moving ponies from off grazing (about 40 miles away) this afternoon and Holmedown Joliet had foaled at some stage between 5 last night and 3pm this afternoon - a filly (1 week early) which is lucky as this is the mare that abandoned her foal last year. (who remembers H.Junior !).
Travelled back fine in the lorry luckily with mum and H.Cobweb and Whiefield Evita who are due in the next 2 weeks.
