After all our stress over the last couple of days we have a filly!!!!!!! She is out of Lucrative Perk and by Putra Sandhurst. Born 12.10am. When we got the mare this winter no paperwork as yet we were told she was due on the 15th May - but after talking to the stallion owner (who was fab!!) as of course we thought she was aborting at this point she gave me covering dates and said she was a little earlier but no worries!!!! She is bay with a star, slight bit of white on a foreleg but only a dash and seems to term with no problems!!!!!!! Anyway here she is.........    |

Phew! Bet it was a releif after thinking she was aborting!

I was beside myself on Friday having had an abortion the previous week and thinking we had a problem with the mares, although looking at Ellie it didnt appear she could possibly go another 6 weeks lol!!!!!!

Haha! she's called NORA!! i don't have any pics as yet as the mare isn't with me, she's up in Luton, but i'm hopefully going to recieve pics tomorrow...........can't wait!! |
