I am looking for a very special loan home for Phil.
He is 12 years old, is strawberry roan with 4 whites and the very best of Coed Coch breeding.
Phil was youngstock champion and gold medal winner at the Royal Welsh as a yearling and has been in the top 4 every time we have taken him.
He is the sire of some lovely stock at the Colne Stud, plus winners at the British National Foal Show. He has only lightly been used at stud but his progeny are outstanding, including Colne Tiara who has been so successful.
Phil has wins at many major County Shows including winner at 2009 Stafford County and 2nd at Lampeter Stallion Show. Others over the years have included Derby, Leicester Ponies Uk etc, Supreme stallion at Midlands WPCS.
He was broken as a 4 year old and reschooled last year and made his debut with a reserve champ at a wpcs area show and a 2nd at BSPS area 6.
Now for the down side!!
If you are looking for a best friend Phil isn't the one, he has attitiude and little man syndrome in bags and all ponies are seen as fair game. He prefers to travel on his own and live on his own.
Quite happy too live out 24/7. He takes masterful handling and really wouldn't be suitable for anyone with less than 'a million years' of experience.
He is a born showman and nothing else and doesn't appreciate cuddles in any shape of form. Sorry to paint him so badly but we know him inside and out. Has been owned by us since a yearling.
We have an understanding and to be fair we have never fell out with him as he really would enjoy it!
His action is breathtaking and has bone to die for.
He is only for loan as I really wouldn't want him to end up in the wrong home as he could easily be misunderstood. I don't have a job for him anymore as we don't tend to show Welsh and I haven't got any Welsh mares so I feel for him, he will be left at home a lot this year.
Ideally I would like him to be ridden because I think he could go all of the way, but by a small adult as he isn't child friendly. Failing that stud duties or in hand showing.
There are some pics on our Website of him.

This is going to be extremely difficult so no 'wannabes' as Phil really doesn't suffer fools lightly.
If you feel you have the experience and knowledge to take on this extremely special little man please PM me or telephone 07743812710
All homes will be vetted as I worship the ground he walks on.
