its not like me to moan but I can no longer take it! mud that is, the bad snow of last week has finally gone - woop woop but the 2 to 6fts worth that was lying has left me with very wet fields it stayed dry for all of 12 hours before the heavens opened and its more or less been raining on and off since, we have a 4ft loch in one field accompanied by a good two foot of muddy slop in and around the field shelter and at the gateway and to think the field shelter has a floor in it with rubber matting on top! well we better have a 'bumper' summer as indicated by a weather expert or I will be sending him a few tons of muddy slop via parcelforce

Feel for you Eskvalley.
It's been pretty bad in the North hasn't it! Long, long winter and now needing the sun!

I am so sick of the mud--- I normally foal at home then move them to their summer fields; so the first of my foals was born last weekend and we moved her today.. see pic in breeding section. I've never in 30yrs of breeding known such a long wet, muddy winter- come on spring and some sunshine
