Great to hear Reggie doing so well in his new home! (elberry seren arian)
He was with me from being 3 years old and he came with no manners, was arrogant, bargy and downright naughty!
We broke him, schooled him, hacked him and instilled good manners into him which he lacked severely! he really did think he was boss! not a good kids pony AT ALL when he came!
He the went on to a 5 yr old girl, who did wonders with him, they had him for nearly 3 years and we lost contact, they sold him on.
Reggie was then found, by someone i know, at a market skin and bone, looking really unwell, he was bought by a nice lady, who got him back to health and i found him for sale, again on horsequest!
So i called her, as he was one i regretted selling. that is when he went on to his new little girl, who has him now!
It took alot of work to get Reggie right alot of time and patience went into him and if his breeder would like any photos or info of his time with us, then i will gladly send them on.
I for one am very pleased, he is looking after a new little one, as he did for mine, while he was with us, he turned into a total star, after initial problems and thoroughly deserves a great home to love him as much as we did.

I am very surprised to hear that Reggie had no manners as a 3 year old. He was shown in hand from being a tiny baby, right through to when he was sold as a gelding. He lived in at night all of his earliest 3 years so was definatly well handled as a youngster, and Sue expects immpecable manners from anything she has on her yard. I wonder what could have happened to him in that short time between Sue selling him to a friend and ending up with you? Very strange, manners are not usually forgotten so soon when instilled from such a young age.
Reggies full brother is still with Sue as a 4 year old and was gelded at a similar age to Reggie and I have been able to send my 5 year old down the field to bring him in for the last 6 month.
I'm sure Sue would love to hear any stories about him, but as I explained in my thread she has had a horrendous time and I don't think stories about him ending up at market skin and bone are what she needs to hear right now. She is just happy that he is well looked after now and doing an important job.
Maybe you should make yourself a member on here then you can PM me your contact details and I can pass them onto Sue?

Hi, i have no idea what happened, i bought him from a lady who said he was from the breeder, but he was very rude, unfortunately, but i took a chance on him.
Also spoke to the lady last night who sold him to where he is now and am very happy with the story. Also very pleased she found him when she did. Broke my heart to hear where he ended up, though we found the best home in the world, for him, its not in our power to say where they go after that, though had i been told he was for sale i would have bought him back.
I have left a message for the breeder if she would like to get in touch and i will email her some photos of his time with us. Hope that will help fill in the blanks a little. His new owners sound lovely and he has now landed on his feet, thank god.
