-where yard owner lets liveries know she is going to use a digger to pull down an old stable, rather than start to do it when you are about to mount your fresh, spooky horse!
- where you can take your barrow to the muck heap when you want, rather than wait for the yard owners "spooky" horse to finish riding in the outdoor school.
-where the yard owner has compassion for animals.
-where the yard owner doesn't rent out the indoor school in the evenings during winter to dog training classes (when the liveries might want to ride their horses after work)
-where it's not one rule for the owner, and another rule for everyone else!
-where the yard owner doesn't park there 4x4 outside your horses stable then sods off somewhere else for 2 hours and doesn't tell you they've left the yard!
ARGGHHHH!
Comments welcome - lol!

oh i have one!
For the yard owner to tell you hes selling the place and offer you first refusal, then says the next day its definatly not for sale, then out the blue a week later people arrive at my yard (i am renting the whole yard) say they are meeting my yo here so they can view the place!!!!
Sooooo angry its untrue! oh plus when i did confront him while the viewers were still there he told me he 'forgot' to text- yea like a text is good enough! then said he would come and speak to me in a mintue when the viewers had gone only to find him go straight to his car and aviod my calls and aviods me when i go down to his to pay the livery!!

I think yard owners are a bit odd, they are a special breed. They have the traffic warden gene and a bit of a controlling nature. I'm lucky enough to have mine at home now and it's so much less stressful. I do sympathise, but move yards!

I do sympathise, but move yards! how rude! it goes for liverys too I would like some liverys who clear up thier own mess, look after thier own horses when on "DIY", actually care about thier horses well being so I don't have to stress about it, maybe notice if thier horse is lame or even believe me when I tell them oh and who don't go on to the yard 1st thing and feed every horse but mine - too much to ask? !!!
