The reason we are selling is that our towing vehicle needs replacing, and as one of our daughters is moving on to horses, we thought it might be the right time to try to look for a lorry.
If the lorry doesn't work I would happily buy another equitrek as it has been so cheap to run.

Please could you tell me what vehicle you used to tow the multitreka. You mention that you are selling as you are looking for a lorry. I am looking to sell my lorry and buy a multitreka if my vehicle will tow it! I have a 2001 21ft Compact Iveco horsebox. It carries 2 large horses or 3 ponies with a lovely living area and really easy to drive and park.

Hi, We have a pajero to pull which is ok at the present with small ponies but it is an older model (15 yrs ) and it's breaking weight is 2500kg so not really upto heavier/bigger ponies. All the newer models are at at least 3 tons if not 3 1/2 so would have no problems.
Even with our vehicle towing has been fine, but as 4x4 needs replacing thought we would try a lorry.
