I felt quite guilty, found him up, feeding and running around this morning. She hadn't fully bagged up or waxed up, or muscles gone so I had no idea. Last year she had an udder like a dairy cow, candles of wax and ran milk for a few days. I'd had her in and watching her on the camera at night for a week and she had a stillborn foal in the field an hour after I'd put her out so this one was a mega-shock! Thank goodness they are both ok and flying round like gooduns!

Oh what a relief, my old mare did that to me years ago, she showed no signs what so ever, and then just dropped her foal right out of the blue a week early in a field full of other expectant mares, thankfully she and baby were fine, but sometimes they do like to catch you out dont they.

What a lush little foalie I had the same thing as you last year with my Small-Land mare she had a dead foal. This time last year she was huge but at the moment there are times I doubt shes in foal so hopefully she will be like your girl and just pop the baby out when I least expect it!!!!!!

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his Tongue.
