born this morning, 24/4/2010 a huge foal out of my kwpn mare by part bred arab stallion Royal Command of Wentward.
This is her 3rd foal for me and the only coloured she's had!
Poor little chap had colic this evening though so has already met a vet. Much happier after pain relief, fingers crossed he'll be ok now.

he's back to being a happy little chap today. It was so sad watching him distressed and thrashing about in pain at only a few hours old!

She's had very little milk because of it so we've had to also bottle feed him which he doesn't enjoy. They're currently on antibiotics and all sorts so everytime I go near them they thinks it means more needles.
Hopefully when the antibiotics kick in things will get better. Fingers crossed!
