Hi everyone, Im new to this! Please could you help me! I am wanting to breed from my sec c mare, I would like her to go to a sec c stallion, Could anyone recommend me one? Ideally in central england Thanks

Betws Enfys @ Larnleighs, Old Man Now but Stunner in his day, Graded Sport Pony stallion too, chestnut not masses of white either ......

First thing I would do is look carefully at your mare with a critical eye and weigh up her strengths and weaknesses. You need to try to find a stallion that is as good as possible in any areas where she is not so good - nothing is perfect! Then start looking for stallions, bearing in mind the bloodlines of both too and go to see them in the flesh so that you can weigh up temperaments, and see where your mare would be going and who would be looking after her - both important and impossible to find out from a printed page.
