sadly he is definitely for sale through absolutely no fault of his own
Sam is a superstar.
He is a not a plod as is a forward going fun ride but completely safe. He hacks alone or in company, is excellent in traffic, with dogs, to catch, load/travel, farrier etc.
He loves to jump and is a real confidence giver jumping. I am terrified of jumping but even i enjoy jumping him. He jumps coloured and natural fences. I have had him on pleasure rides and to the beach and it was great fun.
He started schooling over winter and was a quick learner but i quickly got bored and just continued hacking out so he needs more work before he is ready for dressage or showing.
He is not a spooky horse and hacks out with my 8 dogs jumping in and out of bushes flushing out pheasants and he doesnt flicker. He is lovely natured in the stable and a very good doer.
Lives in or out. He does not need riding every day and is safe to jump on after time off. He would love a hacking/jumping/hunting home as this is what he loves, but am sure he would adapt to schooling/showing/dressage with more work.
He would probably be classed as a mw/hw as he has 9 inches bone and he is an excellent weight carrier. Although 15.1hh, he rides and looks bigger - the lady in the picture is 5ft 9 with very long legs. I cannot praise this horse enough.
He is the horse of a lifetime for someone and he is very sadly for sale through no fault of his own. He will suit someone wanting to have fun on a forward going solid horse or someone wanting to gain confidence hacking or jumping.
He is open to vet. Please no timewasters or joy-riders.
