I have a couple of nice 2yo Ds for sale from top riding lines, you didn't say what age you are looking for. Not advertised except on my website.

Have you tried the sales, or contacted the breedersd themselves through websites etc as they may have ponies like sarahp that have not been advertised?? Good luck

What exactly are you looking for? Age, sex, height, novice, schoolmaster, in hand, breeding?

What exactly are you looking for? Age, sex, height, novice, schoolmaster, in hand, breeding? A Highland or Sec d that can be show to county level. Must be up to hight if a highland, or around 14.3/15.1 if a Sec D- either 3yolds or rising 3. No too bothered on sex, just really looking for an up to height pony with good movment. To ideally show in-hand, and then possibly ridden in a couple of years time I am willing to move the goal posts slighlty for the right pony, so eg 4 yearold etc

I have a fab 4yr old highland gelding, waiting his turn to be backed at the moment, who is very nice. He has not been advertised as we have every intention of backing and showing him, but free time is proving a big deal at the moment. He is a quality pony and would easily do county/hoys Q. Also have a yearling Highland with a lovely temperament who would be great to show in-hand, loads of bone a real chunky chap.

I would be wary of looking at up to height Highlands that are 3 this year - quite likely to go overheight IMO! I can't understand all this needing up to height animals - isn't it better to have a top quality pony that is within breed standard, than a top quality one that you can't show!

I agree with looking for the best animal for the job (eg, moves well and is within breed standard) but i for one, have to ride up to height ponies as a 14.2 connie. highland etc is needed to take up my leg. Im 5ft 10 and am not slighty built- you can blame that on GB rowing trials!!!! Im not fat, its all muscle (unfortunatly), hence why i have to get somthing up to height otherwise i would only be able to ride Sec D's. ( a little off topic but i was just putting my thoughts out there.)
