I am looking for a show saddle which will help my wobbly position. I get lessons every fortnight and am too old with a sharp pony to go back to riding without stirrups to help secure my position. I had a fylde samantha but was all over the place in it. Apart from suede/part suede what show saddle do you use which might help? I don't like a wh type as I want quite straight behind the shoulder. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

I have a Barnsby 7 series WH saddle that's pretty straight cut behind the shoulder. It's really comfy and I've done all my hack classes in it as it really shows the shoulder off. Jumped in it to on a very unreliable ex-racer and felt pretty secure. I can email you pics if you like as not all WH saddles hide the shoulder.

I have a Comfort Matthew Lawerence Show Saddle which has plenty of support, puts you in a good position and I feel very secure in it.

we swear by our silhouette saddles, we have 2 now- they fit our rolly Dartmoors well.

I had both Fylde Samantha and Ideal Ramsay and I would pick the Ramsay a thousand times over, by far my favourite to ride in.

I have a comfort intrepid, it's is reasonably straight cut but not really a show only saddle...I bought it for everything which includes jumping, hacking and showing....and whatever else It has served me well, with a deep seat, knee rolls and thigh rolls it keeps you really secure even when pony bucks I barely move
