preferably in england, tango is the obvious choice but wondered what else is out there. usually use my own stallions so not had to shop around for a while. any ideas?

I assumed you meant a true roan, can't think of one of those although Balnecroft stud do have the colour, very rare nowadays. Tango is a sabino with heavy roaning, genetically different to a roan, masses of these around but the inheritance is extremely variable.

Soberton Stud have a stunning roan Sec D, check out their website www.sobertonstud.co.ukI have just used him on my Warmblood mare in the hope to breed a hunter type, allrounder. His stock are stunning too. x

which mare you thinking of dont know if splash's dad is still at stud, but think he more chestnut with very little white flecks.
