Just thought I'd tell all of you out there why I'm such a happy bunny today! You are all probably used to seeing your ponies/horses whenever you like. Well I've been climbing the walls in recent weeks, at home with 2 young kids, and a hubby who is recovering from an illness and is not upto the stress of looking after both of them. Well now youngest has started school full time. So have escaped to the yard for a full day of ME TIME! A real treat for me. Hanging round the yard, hacking out and generally having a ball! So now I smell of horses for the first time in ages, am tired and aching a little, but I have a big grin on my face and feel less stressed than I have in weeks. Just thought I'd share that with you!!!!!

Been there, got the tee-shirt. Isn't it just wonderful???
Reminds me of a quote found at the bottom of the page in the Readers' digest some years ago:-
September is the month when thousands of happy faces turn towards school - they belong to Mothers!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Thanks! Latest development - OH spent his savings on buying me a car!!!!
So althought I'm a bit rusty (10 years since I drove), with a bit of practice I'll be mobile and can sneak off to the yard whenever the fancy takes me!
Brilliant or what!?!?!?!

Been out driving today! Took hubby, kids and dog to the park (which just happens to be next to the stables, so good practice), went up A38 and everything! Made OH sweat a couple of times though! A lot of 'Whoa' and 'Steady!' going on. Think he needs to chill out . . . . .

My mom told me that the day my brother and I went off to full time playgroup (yep, she was not the motherly sort!!) she did cartwheels on the lawn in excitement.
I want to be a Happy Bunny, really I do, but at the moment I am an extremely UNHAPPY bunny!

Funnily enough my first solo drive was to Tescos, I was having a Oriflame party (remember them) and needed alcholol for pals coming around, so drove there all by myself as hubbie was away. Was extremely sick with nerves in the loos when I got there, was also sick with nerves and shaking when I got home. But then got drunk to celebrate. I went on to progress from a cinquacenco (bit like a three wheeler but smallest car I could find at time) to a micra (to another micra to replace as wrote first one off) to a freelander to a massive jeep. Now there is not stopping me, go for it Milliesmum and pm me if you are stuck for something to ride, you can ride my cob any day

Aw thanks Lolly!!
I remember Oriflame, we must be about the same age!!!LOL! Remember those cinquecento cars as well, my hubby was once given one as a courtesy car whilst his was in the garage. Well if you'd seen the size of my hubby hes a big bloke, we were all in hysterics when he got in it, he kept putting his foot on the wrong pedals because they were so close together! Then I got in the passenger seat and we were elbow to elbow and couldnt shut the doors!!!
Yes my knees were shaking when I got out of the car on Tesco's, but am now at the stage where I can park between two cars instead of driving all the way down to the empty end of the car park! It's funny but I don't know how I managed without it now!
Don't know if I'll ever get to the stage where I dare drive hubby's 4x4 though, think he would probably have a willyie fit if I suggested it. Best stick to my little dodgem!!

My hubbie has a Toyota Hilux, its massive, havn't plucked up the courage to drive that yet, but dont think he wants me too anyway He says one car in the family that looks like a skip inside is quite enough
