Now we all get pretty pi**ed off when we're stuck behind a lorry, on a busy road even if it happens to be a horse-box, but today I was, and I was so chuffed.
I was on my way back from Addington this afternoon, heavy showers, greasy A43; two-lane traffic all moving quite steady but only doing 50-60 mph - there's me in my little car on the outside lane with a decent gap between me and the vehicle in front. Left hand lane quite busy with lorries etc.
From nowhere came this huge silver car, undertaking me like a lunatic and cutting me up as he pulled into my lane. I hate this, I really do!!! So I flashed him a hell of a lot of times as he accelerated away. I reckon the driver of the horse-box which was further on and overtaking a large lorry at the time, saw what had happened, in his mirror, so there he stayed, next to the lorry. I was nearly doubled up laughing so much. Both lorries seemed to slow down with this idiot stuck behind the horse-box for what seemed like ages and me catching up with him laughing my head off. Eventually the horse-box over-took and moved over (pity) and d**k-head continued on his way.
Sorry about the rant - I just couldn't help mentioning it, especially as it was a horse-box that brought about his sudden decrease in speed!! Haven't laughed so much for ages.
