great rug, showed hubby who usually grunts about HG and horses come to that!! But being a diehard welsh rugby supporter he thought it was great and suggested (i nearly died) that the pony may like 1. OK so with hubby and son in welsh top and now pony too. Perhaps this is the way to get round the men make rugs in football team material then they dont seem to complain. PM me with some prices thanks

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm- me and my best mate run an evening club for special needs adults, they are absolutlely great and amazing characters. One chap always carries a sock when using our club, generally a different sort each week........................ this gentleman's name is Kevin and is very excited that I have named my oil sock collection after him

Ok, will get on with the Kevin production line! It would take more than a WHOLE bottle of gin to make me tell I'd be comatose by that point anyway!!!

I have an absolute army of rats who think I am their Fairy Godmother- it would probably cost me more to poison them than feed the nags each week, so if anyone is barbeque-ing them I have loads for free!

Another money-spinner! Thinking about what would make my perfect 'Kevin'. The makeup and oil ones absolutely have to be black (I only use black makeup) thinner material is fine for these ones as it is easier to be more precise. Oil Kevins are best in fairly absorbent material and a really brilliant touch would be some sort of waterproof lining to the Kevin to stop the blasted stuff seeping through to you hands!!! I await the prototype 'Kevin' with glee!!!

Agree Spot, this thread has kept me giggling through an otherwise dull work day! I can often be seen at shows scrabbling through the grooming basket screeching 'Has anyone seen Kevin? I know he is in here!!!' What people must think........................!

Our basket for taking in the ring is called a "wendy Basket" everyone in our group calls tham that. It was from long ago when a girl called "wendy" was the first in our area to do county level and a basket was a must have. hence Wendy basket - we have one of those pink canvas things now but its still called a wendy

Headcollars are called hats, and travelling boots are called wellies, and the ponies always hair rather than a mane or tail, due to work, trying to explain to folk who ask about colouring.

we took the sp out yesterday, for the first time, I did his hooves, turned him on the stones and heard a wail from daughter of "he's chipped his nail varnish!" Knew I should have stuck to hairies...
