My 9 year old son is desperate for Santa to bring him a Nintendo Wii. You may or may not know they are like rocking horse pooh at the moment.  I have a morning ritual of phone calls (Argos X3, tesco, asda) and I tried to put my name on a waiting list this morning only to be told there were 150 people in front of me on the list!!!  So if anyone knows where they have them in stock, or where I can order one from, there is one little boy who will be very very happy on Xmas morning!!  It really makes me angry when this happens, they know demand will be high so why aren't they prepared for it?? |

the only thing i can think of is ebay? They tend to have them on there, but i dont know wether that is much help to you, sorry

Fingers crossed for you MM. Two years ago i was trying to get Nintendo ds with the dogs game!!! Such a nightmare, this happens year in year out, and us mugs end up ringing up, queueing up and generally getting very stressed out!!

Have just had a look. You can get one sent from Germany, just the console and Wii Sports (Argos £179.99), but they are asking £299. What does everyone think? Should I keep trying a while longer? Is that a bit too much of a rip-off? Or am I going to have to part with the cash? I'm just thinking he could have a few extra games for the extra money?

Latest update: Got One!!!!!
Thought I won one on E-bay, then got some message saying it was a dodgy seller, son disappointed again, search back on.
Then a friend went to ToysRus tonight and they had JUST had a delivery, so she phoned me and sat on one till Hubby arrived to pay for it. Is she a great mate or what???!?!
Anyway, definitely have it, in the house ready to 'send to Santa'!
