Know I don't want to upset the apple cart but after seeing Dermot in neck to toe Lycra you would be lucky if you ended up with 12mm and I'm sorry to say they don't make a key to fit that drill, so come on girls bring the conversation above the waist line we are meant to be talking about dibbling in the flower borders, or having a hoe in the veg patch

you can be quite brutal with most plants and they will still reward you with a lovely show once they have settled into their new home.

providing they are not in leaf I would prune the clematis and honeysuckle back quite hard before moving them its not to much of a shock to their systems, the shrubs that are beginning to flower I would not move until the winter, stinkpig is right OH does the pruning with a electric hedge cutter and we have some lovely flowers the following year lavender and heathers like this treatment.

Know girls I'm really only an amateur and just enjoy a bit fun in the garden the only thing that has been in more beds than our spade is me!! but I do like lots of flowers around the yard and have loads of books on the subject

Leave about 10cms and put it somewhere cool for a month, bring it back to the warm and feed it, it should pick up and flower again.
