Love it - I totally refuse to use the self service tills at Tesco on the grounds that they make enough money out of customers to staff tills with human beings!

I hope they are good friends - sound way too fussy for me! When in funds I am a Waitrose girl through and through.....am a bit confused why Tesco man has book of sticky labels???
You can tell that I look rough at the moment, went in to local garden centre and posh (ie clean) people kept asking me if I was an employee, had to keep explaining I was dirty cos of the ponies!!

Answer to your problem, GET A TAKEAWAY, EAT AT YOUR FRIENDS HOUSES, go to tesco after you have mucked out so you smell and they will serve you quicker. Our tesco is 24hr so i go after midnight and have got to know the staff so they are all quite nice,

One of my mum's friends does 'safari suppers' with a group of friends - they have starter at one house, then they all pile into the car and go to another house for main course, somewhere else for dessert, then cheese & coffees etc at another one!! At least it shares out the washing up!

you will have to move up here overbent our tesco is 24 hour so I go at midnight very quiet at that time in the morning everyone is so helpful and the best of it is that there are no screaming kids or old ladies pushing their ruddy trolleys into the back of your legs and no Hitlers on the security desk mind you I'm dying for one of them to frisk me for stolen goods, but alas no such luck at the moment.

I love Tescos as a rule but some of the staff do think they run the world, always go in in horse gear as have to get a lift which means mucking out first.

ours starts restocking at 11pm MM so the shelves are nearly full plus the boys are more likely to nip out the back and see if what you want is waiting to be put out its a bit like having a personal shopper

Have any of you got an Aldi nearby? They're really good for fresh fruit and veg, their frozen lamb shanks are to die for, and they do lovely salmon fillets as well. My kids love their cereal bars and flavoured bottled water for school. All the basics are cheaper than the big supermarkets and the stuff is good quality too.

you do realize that I will have to go out and buy them now MM and OH who controls the purse strings will have something to say about this, he tells me that their are needs and wants and you can spend money on needs but you save for wants, I still can't grasp this concept as far as I'm concerned I need everything and want for nothing

Well MM you have got me into so much trouble I only went to get a few bits and bobs and on the way back from Tesco's I thought I would just pop into Iceland, well a hour later I emerged £104 lighter but a boot full of frozen food. It took nearly two hours to scrape OH off the ceiling and I thought I had done really well with all the bargains he thought other wise, so to get me out of trouble I told him it was all your fault you made me do it, this has left him a bit baffled but a least I won't be sleeping on the sofa tonight

I never sent you to Iceland!!! I sent you to Aldi, you'd need four trolleys to spend that much in Aldi!! I suggest you let him find you naked except for a couple of defrosted chocolate eclairs strategically placed and then see if he's still cross with you! If that doesn't work, of course you can stay at my house, on condition you bring the shopping with you!
