Halfpass, I had a friend who put one of those Heinz syrup puddings in a tin on the stove to boil and fell asleep, he woke up sharpish when it exploded, there was golden syrup up the walls, ceiling, windows . . . . had to redecorate the kitchen!

I went to the chemist today am scared of Drs, the phamist said do ice which I have been and rest, no riding for a week sulk moment coming on here. And if its as big tomorrow see the scary people at medial centre, it really hurts but can move all fingers and thumb. am feeling very sorry for myself this evening

2 flipping hours to clean the cooker and because that was all sparkly and clean the kitchen looked a mess so spent another hour cleaning that I tell you a gaymans work is never done

on a series note am really considering going back in to horses. Had a lovley chat with one of members on here. It was a much happier time the real worlds not all it cracked up to be lol

stand by your guns don't let some jumped up little floor assistant give you the heeby geebies just remember you are in charge if they don't do as they are told tell them not to let the door smack them up the bum on the way out, lay down the law from the beginning of the day take them all to one side one at a time and and let them know you are tired of their little games and you are not prepared to tolerate any more. Be strong even if you are quaking inside don't let them see it, just remember we will all be backing you and just keep our support at the back of your mind. Good luck

I have survived another day and hand is nearly normal, horrid day at work but that seems to be part of course now. Roll on Sunday at 4.30pm my holiday starts

Seahorse I was a buyer for 15 years for several shops, I got on with some of the managers but one was lovely to my face and horrid behind my back. One day I walked into work and decided I had had enough so handed my notice in on the Monday, took my holidays due from the Tuesday and never went back even though they threatened to sack the other manager if did go back. I got another job straight away and have never looked back. There are so many nice jobs out there and life is too short.


Sometimes though I do think if I had had a simple heart to heart with the Manager in question things could have been resolved if I really wanted.
