Help I know this is not a horse thing, but a lot of you have pets, my 9 1/2 week old kitten had bright blood in his stools this morning, have just looked in the litter tray again and theres no stools but a spot of fresh blood am worried sick. Thank you if any one can help

I would speak to your vet, there will be an emergency no. you can ring if you phone the surgery it will be on the message. They will tell you if it can wait till morning or if he needs to be seen. Are his stools hard or soft? I wonder if they are hard and he might be struggling to pass them? Maybe just needs a change of diet. But I would phone the vet and ask, they may be able to put your mind at rest.

Have just spoken to emgerncy vet hes going to be looked at tomorrow with oh the joy a poo sample, he is purring on my lap at moment half on computer bless him

Yes still have the one i borrowed, he went to vet on Tuesday for his first health check and jab he does have a hernia which is why I worry more

Am calming down now have been in and out all day as went to be competeing at a hunter trail today rode down as an escout to lucie and Ross on one of the four year olds pinkie to let him have a look. Took one look at the very slippery round and said no to taking FM. think JJ has had a very busy day.

Hi JJ is fine at the moment, have spoken to vet again, he has done a normal poo last night (delightful sorry lol) and has not another he is very livey at moment

Thank you he is fine now, its worse than with the ponies, glad I dont sit with them all evening would never sleep from worry. A stud groom for years look at me now lol
