Actually it was at Solihull this afternoon. I think she may have broken her leg or ankle. Such a shame after that fabulous write up in Horse and Hound this week that this should happen. I do so hope its not too bad and she is back doing what she does so well very soon. Get well soon Sam

Bl**dy hell, what is it with that place!, i was kicked there 2 weeks ago by some delightful persons pony and have a fractured fibula. (the secondary lower leg bone) Im about 95% sound though now in walk. Hope the poor girl has only done something similar, 'proper' leg fractures can be v nasty, and typical after her article in H & H. In this game one minute your up, and the next your down, hope she has a speedy recovery.

Gosh, wensleystud, sorry to hear about you accident, hope your leg is healing ok. Speedy recovery to you and Sam Roberts if she has fractured her leg. Horses/ponies can be very unpredicatable animals even the really quiet ones. Can remember being bitten in the face many years ago, very painfull. Horse was aiming at another horse, I jsut managed to get in the way, like you do!

gosh seven places, makes me look like a fraud. Hope she is a quick healer and not out for too long. Mind you once shes out and able to get to shows she'll hopefully get some substitute jockeys doing the job so she can watch and get to be 'trainer'!
