I don't know how much the people are who have been mentioned, but from a few years back, I'd say you will be looking at anything from £150 a week up wards, plus add ons such as lessons, travel (for pony), mane pulling, plaiting and so on.
An expensive old game, but from personal experience and circs worth it. ;D

Average price is around £125-£150 includes all livery and lessons. extras are transport to shows entry fees vet and farrier Kate Carter and Jill Thompson are very good and do their job extremely well and the ponies go out daily.

Definately not!!!! I had a grey horse with her a few years ago, and was charged extra for show preparation because it needed more shampoo!!! She was however the best teacher I have ever had and is the most lovely lady - really fun and positive. Couldn't possibly afford her now(not because her prices have gone up as I don't know how much she charges now, but because I am skint!) but would always like to go to her for lessons.

Why don't you do the job yourself. I produce my grandaughters lead rein ponies from home. I have someone who helps with the schooling (and charges £20 to ride three ponies). If you don't know about showing get a good book and learn the ringcraft and so on. If you do know what you are doing then you can have lots of fun and there is a real sense of achievement if you have done it yourself. Its just a suggestion and there may be reasons why you can't do it yourself but we have competed at all the major shows, Olympia, HOYS etc with huge success from home where the is no indoor school, no grooms and not a huge amount of money to spare - if I can do it anyone can! (ps I am disabled too!)

If you are after somebody who is cheap and honest and runs a friendly yard then give Melanie Booth a call, she is in cheshire. They also go in the field everyday, NOT stabled 24/7!!!
