For this last week Arthur has taken priority of our lives, to be honest ive not really had any time to just "time waste" looking at the other babies as my stress levels have been through the roof just looking, watching, assessing, feeding etc, however we are closing in on our first week with Arthur and everyday is a better more positive day!!!!
Once we have the feeding etc all sorted and correct things will be much easier, he is drinking from a bowl now and is generally well but has had a few tummy upsets at times and has had the doctor come and see him - more often than not it has been mummy being neurotic!!!! This morning I am watching him on the camera after feeding and he is galloping round his box and climbing up the banks just like any other normal foal!!!! I am thrilled to see a trashed bedroom!!!!!!
However Violet our little dutch mare who is in foal to Daydream is now bagging up nicely and looking quite close, so hopefully we will have a new arrival in a few days which will be super!!!
Ive not really kept up with whats been happening on the forum so apologise for not commenting on new born posts etc but have been on most days for a quick look and check for any messages!!!
Hopefully soon life will be back to a more level time and maybe I might get some housework done and a tidy up in my yard which at present looks like a bomb site in both areas!!! So if anyone wants a house bottoming job feel free to volenteer!!! OH has been brilliant as he is doing late feeds and I am doing early!!! We are both tired but its been so worth while to have such a beautiful bonny boy!!!
For those who are in general neurotic I dont know how you cope as Im in general a very laid back person and if I was constantly stressed like I am at present I think I would have a break down lol!!!! So a word of advise chill out and enjoy life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway drifting off away from Violet again and lets have a safe arrival on the floor in the next few days to arr and coo at!!!!!!
This is my lovely Violet
