Hi. i have a few yearling fillies living out and 2 of them have strange lumps under their chin.
Theres no snot or anything coming out of their noses and they are fine in everyway and their appetite is as normal.
One of the fillies is sore to touch and the other fillies isnt sore and only a small lump. All the fair is still covering the lump. All my other ponies are fine.
I have my own land so no other horses have been near, were are approx 1/4 mile down the road from a livery yard.
Anyone have any sujestions before i think the worst?
Thanks

Sounds like abcess, possibly from teeth, but you do not need to have obvious snot to have strangles, particularly in youngsters with mild cases.
You really do need to get a proper veterinary diagnosis.
