I really am starting to get disgusted by the behaviour of horses and the way horses are judged nowdays! I was at a show today with my 2 year old colt, and there were a few more stallions there as it had a qualifying class. My boy was stood next to mares and did not blink an eyelid at them, but there were colts stood at the top of the line, that were rearing, lashing out with front legs trying to hit their handler, and backing onto other horses rearing, lashing out with BACK legs, and actually hit my boy when we were stood in the line up. A few stallions got loose due to rearing and pulling away from handlers and as it is a small show, with the majority of people being very young children there to do gymkana on their ponies, I cant understand how they would even THINK of bringing a horse like that to a show. They need to be GELDED. And the worst thing is, these dangerous, nasty horses were at the TOP of the line up, sometimes winning classes, while the well behaved, just as good horses were stood at the bottom. It really frustrates me, if i was a judge, as soon as a horse acted like that, it would be at the BOTTOM, putting other peoples, and horses lives at risk does not deserve a red rosette!! I feel a bit better now ive had a moannnnn but i really had to say it haha

we were at the south of england show on friday and the stallion that won our class was VERY badly behaved trying to mount his handler , lashing out etc and it still won !! ponies like this should be gelded and certainly not win at county shows as they are bred as childrens ponies, I would not want to put my mare to a stallion with these manners
