In november last year i made the very diffucult decision to re home my lovely Louie due to pregnancy , made the decision as he was still only young and thought with the baby he would not get the time and exercise that he deserved. God do i know regret that !!!! He went to a lovely home and a contract was drawn up stating that if things didnt work out he would be returned to me. Things seemed great, heard from new owner with updates and this made things a bit easier for the kids. Out of the blue it was announced that they couldnt keep him any longer as was fighting with there dog, at the time i was due to have baby any day so could not travel to collect him . It was agreed that new owners would try to re home him if a suitable home could be found, unfortunatley no new contract was set up. I have been in touch many times requesting where he has gone to and just wanted to know that he has a nice home and would like to keep in contact with new owners and recieve the odd pic to see that he is ok. Unfortunatley no details or contact details will be given and just told that he has been re homed, last text i got back stated Leave me alone I am really upset at this and kids are devastated, what can i do to find out he is ok or to go get him back, i know and wish i had never got rid of him, but it breaks my heart not knowing where he is and think about it everyday.

No unfortunatley not microchipped. As i know area he originally went to i wonder if i wrote to local vets around that area and if he was registered with them they could ask new owners to contact me, or place ads in papers around that area ?? He was quite unusual as thingyer Spaniel X Tibetan Terrier so maybe not hundreds of those around ? Really dont know what else to do

thats probably the best plan. I doubt they would give you any potential new owners details but you may be able to leave a letter for them to pass on. Good luck

Thats what i thought and had hoped . I just cant understand why the person who originally took him is acting like this and refusing to tell me anything, all i want is the truth, just because she doesnt have kids and understand there feelings doesnt make it any easier to explain to mine that i dont know how or where he is !!!!! I am totally gutted about the whole sitauation and becoming more and more worried as time goes on, what else can i do ?

Dazycutter my thoughts exactley , just can not understand it at all ?? The person has become very funny towards me and i find that very upsetting, what ever the situation is all i want is to know how he is, if things arent working out i will go and get him, if hes fine then i will be happy. Its someone from this site who re homed him from me and they cant even be bothered to get in touch by text, pm or anything ?

Thats a good idea will try kennels and sanctuarys in the area, posted letters off at weekend to the vets.
Also have decided as cant get any response by pm or text etc will have to now take the matter further.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions, very much appreciated.
