I know a 4" will be too small as I bought him a loop ring snaffle which is similar in a 4 1/4" & it was a touch too small. I think a 5" may bury him

you can get a simalar bit made by eldonian the difference is that the cheek strap attachment is in the inner part of the ring,you will proberbly pay as much for a second hand one as they are 35pound from fylde,i got fed up of looking for one and went and bought a new one

I have one of those already but he doesn't like the jointed mouthpiece & I don't think they make one with a ported!

hi yes they do as that is where i bought mine from and it arived a couple of days later if you go on www,fyldesaddlery.co.uk and look at their online shop you can see every bit and piece of tack that they stock and they are real friendly staff,

I thought the Eldonian loop ring snaffle was only made with a jointed mouthpiece similar to the Fylde Wilkie? We have one of those. I know Fylde make the Wilkie with a ported but didn't know Eldonian did?

hi your confused? i think i may have confused myself as well, no eldonian dont make a ported mouthpiece take no notice i am having a senior moment,it happens when you get to my age
