I didn't go to Builth Wells, but I believe this pony (section C) went through the ring. Does anyone know him? I've heard he may be for sale again, and I can only find one picture.

Thanks for that La La. He looks a nice chap. I believe he went through the ring at a sale last Friday. His new owner is now trying to sell him on, and I'd rather know a bit more about him before I suggest him to a friend. Many people on this site have interesting and expressive views on things, people and ponies!

Why would the pony be for sale after 1 week? Makes you wonder if there is something wrong with him?

If you know that he went through the sale ring on Friday, you know who sold him, & you can therefore ask the auctioneers what was written about him in the catalogue, you can also ask the auctioneers to contact the vendor on your behalf. It appears that you seem to know rather alot about a pony which you are asking others about "interested". You know that he was shown by the SRS Show Team & that he went to a sale on Friday surely you don't have to be Miss Marple to work out were your first point of contact might be!!!!!! This shouts "Trouble Makers" to me

I agree with you Morse...........
Seems strange that someone has gone to the trouble of posting on here and saddle soap for a pony.
Especially as you have said, they know the pony was sold on Friday............. In the first post ''intrested'' asks of the pony was sold on Friday, then in the secon post they say ....They know he was sold on Friday and that his new owner is now trying to sell them on................seem to know an a lot!!!!!!
Possibly someone who has had connections with the pony in the past....................def trouble making

It's amazing how quickly stories grow arms and legs. I can assure you my first post was a very genuine enquiry, which I had hoped would be answered in a friendly way! It was a bit vague as I didn't have much info apart from his name and that he had been through the ring recently. I actually assumed he had been at the Oct sale. The lady who bought him has no welsh knowledge, and could only tell me very little about him. She bought him as she thought he was a cracking pony and may do her son, but on hind sight has decided he would be better sticking to his 12hh. She contacted me to see if I would be interested in him, or knew of anyone else who may be looking for a project Someone on another site informed me that it was only Friday that he went through the ring. She did say that he had been late gelded, but had been an angel since she had had him home. I repeat, she did not tell me it was only Friday she had bought him. I don't want this pony landed with a bad reputation before he's even had a chance. As for the people mentioned that had him, I haven't a clue who they are, but if they did have any more info on the pony I would love to hear it.

Of course there are, but I suggest you don't infer that Enthusiast is not going to tell the truth to the interested party. Original poster - you now know that Enthusiast is willing to help so I'm now going to close this thread.
