We've only got classes in the afternoon on the 26th and it is highly unlikely we would be in the evening performance, so i don't particularly want to have to stay over. Is it absolutely necessary?

I shouldn't think so, depends where you have to travel from as you could just travel down on the morning. Good luck anyway.

Thanks, where over in the north west think it should take about 3/4 hours to get there depending on how fast the wagon wants to go! first class is something like 12:30 so it should give us plenty of time. It just doesnt seem to be the 'done' thing to do

We haven't been since it moved to Arena Uk (I don't like the journey there!) but always stayed for the week when it was at Peterborough just because we usually had classes on most days.
There's no reason why you can't just go for the day - we used to make 2 seperate day trips for PUK as it was cheaper than staying over!

We're traveling to from warrington, so that shouldn't be too bad a drive then! we would be leaving at around the same time, i want to get there with lots of times to spare!!

If you are only showing on one day I wont think about staying over, the cost of the stables alone is not cheap. Good luck for your class and enjoy it

As an area Chairman - if anyone is having difficulties with the schedule - do call one of the committee they will be happy to help I am sure.

do you prefer PUK or BSPS? thinking about doing PUK next year We haven't done either for a couple of years now (gave up on PUk after the 'clapometer') - we stick to NPS & Equifest as they are both a lot cheaper!

I think the evening performance is great at PUK though, last time my pony went he took supreme so he really seems to like it under those lights anyway we'll see what we think of bsps this year then probably alternate it and see which champs we like the best, there seems to be good and bad opinions on all of them

We travel each day but we only live 40 mins away. Also that means same ponies don't have to go every day and can rest in between!

Yeah we've only got the one out this year so no point making him stay really, just unnecessary stress and expenses. We have qualified for classes on other days as well but we're not taking up those qualifications as he's not ready to be hammered for a week's worth of classes!
