my friends pony was put down yesterday due to arthritus and cushings disease and had only just started a course of tablets for cushings. these cost over £50 for a pack of 100. i have here a box of 88 Pergolide 250 microgram tablets. i dont know if any use to anyone, but i would like to be able to give her £10. a bargain if anyone uses them.

Really sorry to hear about your friend's pony. Unfortunately I think Pergolide is a prescription only medicine, and therefore it is illegal for it to be sold by anyone except a vet, pharmacist, etc.

Actually that sounded quite expensive for pergolide these days. My vet charges me about 50 pounds for 100 1mg (that is the same as four x 250 micrograms) as my horse has one per day.
This is the worse time of year for Cushings ponies and horses, as the days get shorter and the weather gets colder.
