Just want anyones advice or thoughts. Have entered the concourse d'elegance lead rein class.Just wanted to wear traditional evening performance gear, have since found out ( we have been out of lead rein for several years) that the majority of exhibitors wear concourse costumes that involve long skirts etc. I would hate to be the only one in non-costume dress and also take up a place in the class, which is now full, when an exhibitor who has taken a long time and loads of effort to have a fancy costume is deprived of a place.

when my daughter went in the fr concours last year at equifest there were quite a few who just had the navy jacket, stock and glitter, so don't worry too much about skirts and taking a place of someone who has a skirt, just enjoy it xx
