I wandered what he was doing now, is he still ridden? It's so nice to see him looking well. You can see more of his family on www.milfordwelshponies.co.uk

kayjayem, yes your right its midas..! iv seen the milford stud website and have also seen his sire out and about too, he isnt ridden anymore as his owners daughter is too big for him as hes only 12.1 and hes also a bit of a bugger...lol so iv got him just to show in hand ,,,nothing too serious because hes even hard work in hand some shows hes fine others hes a nightmare ,,,,consistency defo not in him but hes had some wins at local level and its all in fun gives him a job to do for now...

I have a Sec B mare who is now 18 years old. I paid 200 from beeston when she was 6 months old. She is Downland/Gredington bred She has produced a fab foal who herself has won BSPS level. In her younger days my sec B competed county level in hand in RPB/SHP classes then under saddle always being placed. She then competed jumping for couple of years in BSJA classes. Since she was 10 she has concentrated on dressage only competing in prilim, novice and gaining scores of 70% in elementary and in talent spotting finals at Addington Manor, also been to BYRDS camp. She is on loan now to a 11 yr old still competing and even started jumping again doing combined training and her first jumping/ cross country for 8 years went clear. She really is an amazing pony and was well worth her £200!!!!

After having part breds for 20 years we bought our first section b about 5 years ago and now have 7! My first pony was by a section b (Breccles Quicksilver), she was a superstar and still is at 26. She has the most wonderful temperament which I put down to her B breeding. They are great performance ponies, unflappable and are beautiful to look at Here are some of ours - Larry (Downland Goldcrest x Downland Songstress) Dylan (Downland Goldcrest x Downland Songstress) Polly (Bunbury Figaro x Hattongate Pollyanna) Libby (Eeabrook Elegant Prince x Botleigh Poppy) Poppy (Palesides Aristocrat x Bunbury Pansy) Song (Downland Night Rider x Downland Summer Song)

Got an old fashioned boy, who was my daughters 12hh SHP. He is 19 (going on 2!) and she still rides him in veterans sometimes. Some may remember Leucarum Goldfinch, a flashy dappled grey. He is "white" now and still as wicked as ever!
