The judging of the M&M large breeds was awful! The judge put a C first that was overbent, bucked 3x in it's show and messed around - also put it reserve champion. The others in that class weren't perfect but they were a LOT better than that. Also in the M&M smalls the same judge put a B first that was backing into the rope, trying to rear and messing around infront of the judge who stood there watching it be very naughty, she also put it champion. Someone should judge the judges in my opinion!

Do tell us who the judge was so that we will all know to avoid him or her.

Cant comment on that particular show, but what about cheshires lr m&m class, the pony in top cantered in its show!!!! And can you believe it the same thing happened at Norht of England in the Hoys lr m&m, the b in second cantered a stride, wouldnt stop on its trot out and went round in its show with its head on its chest...Is it me Or aren't lead reins supposed to go at the end of the rein, at the side of the leader, and stop at the side of the leader, not 5strides ahead....Thoroughly fed up....also why get judges to judge a mixed class when they so obvoiusly are A lovers? Surely a judge who doesnt have a preference or isnt linked with a particular breed would be more fair...can you guess weve got a dartmoor!!! oh well here's to scottish, ponies uk,surrey and all the rest of the Hoys left...Any feedback?

???Shocked at these lead-rein judges... As for judges that prefer As doing a mixed class, I feel IMO a Welsh judge is more likely to place an A down (cause they know a bad one when they see it). Today my OH judged a mixed class!!!!! what did he place? 1st..a Shetland....(hes always said "wouldnt have one on yard, nasty articles"!!! 2nd..a Dartmoor 3rd..NF 4th..yes an A...but a good A 5th..another Shetland Please dont tar all judges with the same brush

I watched the HOYS M&M LR class at chaeshire very closely as had some very good friends in the class, and the first place pony didnt canter in its show and did a lovely show and trot up. it was nice to see someone other than a producer win it for a change.

you find that a lot in hand as well the horses and ponies that are corned up to the eyeballs and never see the light of day fart, buck and rear always come up the top end of the line and them that are foot perfect and well manered end up down the other end
